The Secret of The Golden Flower
One day in 2011 I picked up a little old book out of my library entitled “The Secret of The Golden Flower” (Tai I Chin Hua Tsung Chih) – A Chinese Book of Life, translated by Richard Wilhelm with a Foreword and Commentary by C. G. Jung. I had the book since 1991 and must have read it before, but I had no recollection of its content[1].
But as I flipped through the pages, the drawing below caught my attention and suddenly it ‘clicked’ in my mind, and I found the answer to my old riddles that I have not solved; “How can I talk to myself from the past, who is now my guide.”
The whole time I have been holding the Christian concept of an afterlife that I learned from my Catholic schooling. Hence, I couldn’t solve the riddle. It reminds me of a Chinese saying that says:
“A full glass, though open cannot receive fresh water. It must be emptied first”.
An open mind is not enough. We need to empty our mind from old concepts or beliefs to be able to receive new concepts.
The drawing that caught my attention is the last drawing of four: Meditation, Stage 4: The Centre in the midst of the conditions. In that drawing, I could see The Old China Man (OCM) who came onto this planet around 250,000 BC as the central figure. The one Siddhartha mentioned as the monk holding the tasbih, who is my Fifth Density immortal SELF in whose realm there is nothing as ‘old’.

Out of him emanated many other beings (only 5 in the drawing), who are 4th Density multidimensional beings. Two of them are Master Tan and Master Liu, out of who emanated many Third Density beings, including the old farmer and myself (the author).
Master Tan, my (genetic) ancestor, with his ability to build Taman Ayun in Bali within three nights with the help of beings from another dimension, demonstrated what a Fourth Density multidimensional being could do. At the end of his incarnation he disappeared (no one ever found his body), ascended into an immortal Fifth Density (Light) Being. People then gave him a new name – Tan Hu Cin Jin (in Hokkien) or Chen Fu Zhen Ren (in Mandarin), which means “Ascended Master Tan/Chen”. The title “Cin Jin” or “Zhen Ren” given to him means “True Man”.
In Christianity, this ‘truth’ has been demonstrated by Jesus with his resurrection, while in China during the Tang and Song Dynasty there were eight people, who become the legendary “Eight Immortals”.
The drawing shows many ‘independent’ beings, though all of us are ONE, as OCM said to me “whom do you want to channel? There are thousands of us, and while we are ‘whole’ why do you want split personality”.
It fits the description of a “Social Memory Complex” as the term coined by Ra in “The Ra Material”. Thousands of us are sharing our memories of our experiences in several different planes of existence (3rd, 4th and 5th Densities). And we can access those memories by accessing our Group Akashic record.
And according to Kathleen’s reading[2];
The Group of Truth is highly evolved. The discarnates and the incarnates, as you are very highly evolved. This group seems to meld together as ‘One’ voice. The group of discarnates looks like several beings together making up one ball of light. But within this light, there are about three or four beings.
Who are those three or four beings as the core of the light? Could that be Siddhartha Gautama, Kwan Yin, Manjushri and my Old China Man? Or maybe even higher beings from Sixth or Seventh Densities.
However, we are all inseparable as in white light, though each may have a unique vibration characteristic such as in the different colours of light. Names and levels are only labels, to satisfy our little mind which needs to differentiate one from another.
“They do not seem human. However, I agree with you; I feel that they have had past lives as humans. In the form they are in now, they always travel together like a cell. I see them as a ball of light and within their centre is like a nucleus — a bright ball of light.”
A bright ball of light! We are all “light being”. We might ‘see’ different beings as different balls of light, but ultimately as I experienced last August 1997 in merging with the LIGHT, we are all ONE being, The Source, THE ALL THERE IS, interconnected with and inseparable from each other.
As the nature of light, we could only be dispersed, refracted or polarised through a prism into different colours of light with different wavelength, but not separated.
In the Ancient Secret Doctrine, this is symbolised by the first symbol, The Circle. The Absolute One-ness – The Law of ONE.
Back to the old Chinese text “Tai I Chin Hua Tsung Chih” (translated as The Secret of The Golden Flower), it was first published in the early Qing dynasty, circa 1668–1692, though attributed to Lu Dong Bin (796 -1016) a Tang Dynasty Chinese scholar and poet who has been elevated to the status of an immortal, one of the eight mentioned above.
Golden Flower in Chinese Chin Hua or Jin Hua is written as 金花. Usually, it is written vertically, one above the other. And when they are overlapped, the combination of the bottom parts of the two characters becomes “Kuang” or “Guang” 光, which means “Light”.
The first secret is that “The Secret of The Golden Flower” is actually about “The Secret of Light”.
In those days the nature of light was not known and was very elusive. But nowadays, in our current technology especially in communication technology with fibre optics, the nature of light is no longer a secret.
The secret to becoming immortal is ‘to reverse’ the flow of light according to the book. Reversing the light or reversing the flow of our consciousness, as explained from my experience above, is reversing my ‘little’ ego consciousness back to OCM the Old China Man, my immortal Fifth Density SELF – “The Heavenly Consciousness” according to the translation.
According to Master Lu Tsu;
“The secret of the magic of life consists in using action to attain non-action. One must not wish to leap over everything and penetrate directly. The maxim handed down to us is to take in hand the work of ‘human nature’ (hsing). In doing this, it is important not to take any wrong path.”[3]
It is what some contemporary spiritual groups understand as the process of Ascension. Ascension is more a process of inner awareness rather than physical conversion. The main purpose is to realise who we really are. Once we are there, we may adjust our physical body as we need to, not from outside but from inside – “The Vortex”, “The I AM axis”, “The Heavenly Consciousness”.
In a way, it was a confirmation that I was on the right track in practising my method of synchronising my being during my stay in Jakarta from 1995 until I experienced the merging with the Light in 1997[4].
[1] Unfortunately the translation contains error that leads to misunderstanding and Jung tried to make sense by applying his Western logic or way of thinking that totally messed up the whole text. Hence, I didn’t keep anything in my memory.
